Minimal Data Collection – We collect only the essential details required to process your booking. Some data may be retained for legal compliance and to enhance your user experience. Website Analytics – We gather anonymous data such as approximate location, browser type, and visit duration to improve website functionality and customer experience. Customer Profiles – Passenger details, including full name, address, phone number, and email, are stored to facilitate booking confirmation and communication.
Transaction Data – Payment information is securely stored to fulfil contractual obligations.
Fraud Prevention – In some cases, additional checks may be carried out to reduce fraudulent activity.
Data Confidentiality – Customer transaction data is not included in correspondence, and any accidental capture is promptly removed.
Personal Data – Retained only for the duration necessary to complete bookings and comply with legal requirements.
Legal Obligations – Personal data may be processed if required for legal defence.
Customer Rights – Passengers have the right to request data removal or access copies of their stored data. Requests are processed within 30 days at no cost.
Journey Data – Stored for one year, as per Private Hire Operator regulations, and then automatically deleted.
Correspondence Data – Retained for 18 months before automatic deletion.
Transaction Data – Stored for six years from the end of the last tax period to comply with the Finance Act 1988, Schedule 18, Part 2, Section 21(2).
Customers may request data removal; however, certain legal obligations may restrict full deletion. In cases where essential data is erased, service cancellation may be required, subject to our standard cancellation policy.
